Phil retired after a 40 year career in the commercial/industrial video security and machine vision industries holding various senior level account and general management roles. Originally from Pennsylvania he has lived in North Carolina for most of the last 40 years. He is a road and gravel cycling enthusiast and general outdoor adventure junkie, a highlight being a trek to Mt. Everest Base Camp. In addition to his work for Wish For Wheels he volunteers for his local Food Bank, teams with his retired racing Greyhound, Astro, in Therapy Dog opportunities and works part time in his local bike shop.
Phil discovered Wish For Wheels while living in Denver a few years ago and caught the vision for what a new bike can mean to an underserved child and the opportunity for sponsors to meet their Community involvement, Social responsibility and Employee engagement goals. He is excited help bring a focus to the Carolinas
