The Denver Police Department has partnered with Wish for Wheels to start a community bike repair pilot program. Officers want to make sure that they're helping children who could use some repairs for their wheels.

Broncos players, Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, Miles the Mascot and local officers from District 5 of the Denver Police Department partnered up with Wish for Wheels to distribute bicycles to second graders at John Amesse Elementary and teach them about bike safety.

“When I grew up, I didn’t have anything like this at my school,” Dominguez said. “When we found out they were giving bikes to the whole grade, we figured, ‘Hey, why not?’ We’re very grateful, that’s for sure.”
