Rochester, N.Y. — A pair of organizations are making dreams come true for local students through some pedal power.

The second grade class at Genesee Community Charter School on East Avenue received free bicycles Wednesday, all thanks to the "Wish for Wheels" philanthropic project and ESL Federal Credit Union.

Students Zoey Palmer and June Muoio are pumped for their new set of wheels!

"I already have a bike, but I outgrew it and I didn't have a bike for a couple of months, so I was really sad," Zoey said. "This made me much happier."

The students also received free helmets.
