Transitioning back to accounting, Jessica joined a small firm where she managed accounts for eight diverse clients, including five non-profit organizations.
Outside of work, Jessica finds joy in nature through hiking, boating, and fishing with her husband Brian. She is dedicated to community service, having volunteered with the children’s program at Safehouse Denver, The Gathering Place and MetroCaring.
Jessica was born in Pasadena, CA, and moved to Dallas, TX during her senior year of high school. After graduating from the University of Texas Austin with a BA in Accounting, she started her career as a staff accountant in Dallas. Relocating to Denver in 1998, Jessica worked as a budget analyst. A year later, Jessica entered a successful family sausage business that she co-owned and operated for 21 years. She is a proud parent to a 22-year-old son, Alex, a 20-year-old daughter, Ashley and an 8-year-old black lab, Austin.
